Lily’s Handmaid version 1.4.0: Maid’s Life

The fourth and (probably) the final content update is here! It’s time to visit the Duskheart Family once more!

This update further expands the epilogue as well as the side story about Nadya’s daily nightly life. In other words, the new things are as follows:

  • Epilogic Episode 5
  • Nadya’s Nightlife Episode 4

These two episodes are strongly related to each other, and together they make up a story of about 5000 words. There are new event graphics, of course, and two new achievements for completing the Epilogue and Nadya’s Nightlife.

It is also worth mentioning that during the story Sarah receives the letter that her mother Serena sent her in Succubus Research Diary…

How to access the new content?

To unlock Nadya’s Nightlife Episode 4, you have to play through the previously added content first:

  • Nadya’s Nightlife Episodes 1-3
  • Epilogic Episodes 1-4

You can access Epilogic Episode 5 once you have played Nadya’s Nightlife Episode 4.

Note: If you have already played through all the previous content, you can access Nadya’s Nightlife Episode 4 right away. This should work even if you’re reinstalling the game (unless you have manually deleted the save data).

Oh, and perhaps it’s not yet too late to say this: Happy New Year!

Is Sarah naughtier in these new episodes than ever before… or is it just my imagination? Hmm…

Lily’s Handmaid trading cards released!

It took half an eternity a while, but here they are! Lily’s Handmaid now has Trading Cards and the associated Community Items (Badges, Emoticons, and Profile Backgrounds). Now you can collect them, trade them, catch them all, or… well… do whatever it is that you do with them.

  • The trading cards feature all the game characters except Rie because she’s too stealthy.
  • The badges are modeled after the Ribboned Lily and Duskheart symbols.
  • The profile backgrounds feature Sarah and Lily, as well as in-game scenery and some abstract art.
  • The emoticons are mainly stylized images of flowers.

The emoticons and profile backgrounds are also available in the Points Shop.

Copypasta from Steam ends here.

Just as a side note, it might just happen that Lily’s Handmaid gets the fourth content update later this year. Possibly. But don’t bet huge sums of money on it.

Anyway, I’m going to spend a few weeks doing something Succubus Research Diary related now. What could it be…?

Coming soon: Lily’s Handmaid trading cards

It was actually a few months ago that the mysterious Steam algorithm finally decided that Lily’s Handmaid is eligible for trading cards. At the time I was busy developing Succubus Research Diary, though, so I didn’t release them right away. But now that I’ve had some time on my hands, I’ve put that time into making the cards and associated items.

The trading cards are complete and uploaded to Steam now, but they can’t be released before Valve has reviewed them. It shouldn’t take longer than 2-3 business days unless there’s something that has to be changed.

Edit: Turns out that there are a couple of things that have to be changed. This means that it will take a bit longer before I can release the trading cards.

P.S. I will make trading cards for Succubus Research Diary as well as soon as the notorious “Steam is learning about this game” status stops haunting the game. But it’s difficult to say how long that will take.
