The fourth game by Arcus Plume is a light-hearted visual novel about a young noblewoman and her handmaid who are starting to take an interest in adult stuff. It is a story about close but platonic relationships turning into physical ones. It is also a story about… well, all right… everyone being horny all the time. Who would have guessed?
Although Eleanor’s Handmaid is not a direct sequel to Succubus Research Diary, the two games have some connections. Julie D’Faerwyn, the mother of the new game’s protagonist, made a brief but passionate appearance in the Serena’s Services story arc of Succubus Research Diary (updates 1.4 and 1.5). Everyone’s favorite pink-haired succubus, Nerisha, will in turn have a role in Eleanor’s Handmaid.
Here it is. The mysterious ProjectE has finally evolved into Eleanor’s Handmaid. The game is still in development, of course, but at least I can now properly show how it looks like. You can find the trailer and a whole bunch of screenshots and character introductions on the Steam store page:

Please consider adding the game to your wishlist. Steam algorithms like that sort of thing.
On a side note, I like to abbreviate Eleanor’s Handmaid as ESH rather than EH. This is because E, S, and H are not only letters appearing in the title but also the initials of the three characters depicted in the cover art (Eleanor, Sofia, and Helen).
On another side note, guess who has been sick because of the famous corona virus lately? It’s been three and a half years since the beginning of the pandemic, and I just got it for the first time. I didn’t get very serious symptoms, though, thanks to the vaccines, I guess. But the sickness has robbed me 4-5 workdays. Grrr.
